Birthday cake
March 28, 2010
Today was the day for the third birthday here in my family, my daughter became 20 years. And again it was celebrated: Presents, flags, guests, nice meals…..
This time I will show you how we always make the birthday cake here in my family. The jam is made from varying home-grown berrys for example strawberries, blueberries or raspberries – and the whipped cream is always mixed with melted chocolate… very easy – and very delicious! Often we add fresh fruit or berries inside or upon the cake.
…..and here you are: “Velbekomme” (as we say here in Denmark when we serve you a meal and hope it is a pleasure for you):

This cake looks simply delicious. I love cakes with berries and chocolate. Those little flags are so cute ! I could add a Swiss one 😉 red and white too !

The cake tastes really good – and doesn’t take long time to make. Normally we buy the cake-pieces, but if they are home-made the cake is even better…… I would like to see your Swiss cake!
