In Memory of My Mother
September 30, 2014
Funen, August 2014
One August evening on my way home from visiting my mother in Odense, I stopped and captured this photo…..
That day was the last time I saw my mother alive. A few days later she passed away.
She had a long and good life for 94 years.
She was a loving and caring woman, she was hardworking and creative, and she was a family person who tied the whole family together.
We will all miss her.

Thank you, Lynn. My mom got blood clots in the brain last year, recovered miraculously in the spring, but this time she did not survive ….

Thank you. My mother had a good life, and she will live on in us through all our good memories with her. We have peace with her death, she wanted to end life now because she was aware that she would not come up again this time.

Tak skal du have, Rune. Selvom vi alle ved, at vi blot har livet til låns, så er det svært at miste dem, vi holder af…

Thank you for your kind comment. My mother loved flowers – like me. I often gave her flowers or a potted plant, when I visited her. I an sure, that she would have loved red roses!

Tak for det, Hans. Nu er vi igang med boet efter mine forældre. En ny tid er kommet. Og næste gang er det så min tur – om forhåbentlig mange år.
