Beech

A common tree in Denmark is the beech. Around the old Vilhelmsborg Manor (known back from 1486) near my home in Mårslet is Vilhelmsborg Forest – consisting mainly of beech trees.

This beech is my favorite old Beech here – in fall dress:

    Nice shot! Beech is one of the most common trees around where I live, too. This one is a wonderful old giant of a beech tree!
