Vilhelmsborg Allé – in autumn sunshine

November 3, 2010

The Beech in my previous post can be seen from this beautiful avenue, Vilhelmsborg Allé.

Vilhelmsborg Allé - in autumn sunshine

This capture is from before this week – now most leaves have fallen to the ground –  the weather has changed to rain and strong winds…..

It is a good view. I like the bright yellow leaves. It is almost as if they amplify the sunlight.
    Beautiful.
Today we had so much wind that most of the trees stand naked. I didn’t get all the images I wanted for this season. Next year perhaps…..

It must be a lovely sight to see, I used to visit Brooklyn Botanical Garden in NYC when I was little, and it looks very much like this image.

Hello Jan! I am glad you stopped by here – and liked my pictures. Of course i had a look at your blog too – and OOOHH what a surprise!!! Your digital sketches are so special and different from what I have seen before. THAT is great stuff ;-). I will definitely have a closer look soon – and leave a comment here and there. I like your obsession with social conditions in South Africa too – you work for a good cause.

That’s a fine image, and difficult to make. You captured that golden glow perfectly.

Thank you! I think the autumn colors here are better than in my other photos from here.
