(Closer to the) Manhattan Skyline
A section of the Manhattan skyline as seen from the east (from where we stayed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn). With the beautiful Art Deco building Chrysler Building to the left and United Nations Headquarters to the right behind (and in contrast to) the church tower.
Notice the foreground with the low buildings in Brooklyn.
The southern part of the Manhattan skyline – again as seen from Williamsburg in Brooklyn.
Here dominates the newly built One World Trade Center Tower. Which is now the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
Another tower called Two World Trade Center is under construction, this new building is by the way designed by the Danish architect company Bjarke Ingels Group.
