Great Belt evening – monochrome

April 9, 2015

This is my contribution to Leanne Cole‘s next Monochrome Madness.

(Please click photo for best view 🙂 )

A view from Funen towards Great Belt Bridge (or Great Belt Fixed Link).

The suspension bridge, officially known as the East Bridge, has the world’s third longest main span – 1,6 km. –  the longest outside of Asia.

To the right of the Suspension Bridge you can glimpse the island Sprogø.

It was a cold and clear evening, I was lucky that both the last sunlight and the moon was playing over the Belt and bridge.

View photos from the other side of the Belt in hazy weather here.
