Aya Sofya

July 5, 2014

I visited my daughter in Istanbul in October 2012.

Aya Sofya (Hagia Sophia) in Istanbul, Turkey, was from its construction in 537 a Greek Orthodox Church, later a mosque, and now a museum.

More photos from here in my following posts.

My daughter does not live there now – she and her boyfriend were studying at a university there in 2012. Her boyfriend’s family comes from Turkey. I would love to meet you there once – or in Iran! 🙂
