Those Masai children are privileged to be able to study. Simple classroom adapted to their country, its temperatures and built with local materials. I remember such schools, the joy and pride of the children, their attention as the teacher spoke too ! A great pic, Truels, thanks for sharing your interesting journey with us.

I was impressed that the children were taught under such primitive conditions. But the Masai seemed as proud and wise people who got the best out of their nomadic life.

Ja, det er mange århundreder siden, at skoler så sådan ud her. Men disse stolte folk fik det bedste ud af tilværelsen her på savannen (som jeg også skriver til Isa ovenfor 🙂 )

Lovely. I remember when I bicycled to my school in winter when temperature was -30ºC = -22.0ºF. Believe it or not, but I got sweat was because my bike was very stiff to pedal.

You had some different temperatures up there than in Africa!!! The kids here all live in the village around the school. And I do not think they had a single bike in the village…….

They did not talk English – but it must be strange for them to see white people visiting their village and school…
