World’s largest…..

May 11, 2013

My day at Sletterhage and Helgenæs ended with a spectacular sight:
One of the world’s largest container ships, the 397 meters long Eleonora Maersk, passed close in the 50 meters  deep fairway – VERY close to the coast…...

It was an amazing sight in the clear spring evening to watch this mighty ship sail so close past us.

But I was still not quite satisfied with my photos and I will later try again ………..

(Maersk’s large container-ships often
pass here to and from the port of Aarhus, which is one of the largest container ports in Northern Europe).

Truels, are we as photographers ever satisfied with our photographs????? I like the storytelling images you have captured.

I’m glad you liked my little story – my “problem” is, that I have seen photos captured by others from other angles, that tells the story much better! …………

Gosh, that looks extremely close to the shore, Truels. I am glad it did not run aground!
