Winter
January 23, 2013
Let’s go outside in the Danish winter !
When I leave my house the view is like this.
Last October the view was like you can see in my post “Colors on a grey day”.
The following photos are views of different details from a Danish winter day, January 2013:
“Steps” (B&W)
“Looking out”
“Looking down” (B&W)
“Looking close – “Butterfly Bush“
“Not any Butterflies Around Here”
“Snow on the Light”
“Looking Inside the Warm Living Room”
“Sunset Light on the Road”
(This photo was captured last winter and published earlier here March 2012 in my post “Goodbye winter” 🙂 )

You know Truels that going from your Serengeti Kindergarten to your Danish Winter is quite a shock ?! In any case a great choice of sights, compositions and titles. You presented interesting aspects of your Winter : Steps is a wonderful shot, Looking out, quite dreamy, Looking down, rather mysterious and Warm Living Room, very cosy. I really enjoyed seeing more of your Winter. Well done and thank you !

Yeah, my daughter just returned from ½ year in Istanbul, so she (like myself!) prefers climate inside rather than outside…

Definitely winter on your side of the world. Quite a contrast to the heat we are having. The winter does give you wonderful photo opportunities. It must be good to have your daughter home. Stay warm!!!

We are lucky to live in a part of the world, where it is possible to stay warm in winter – inside!
I do not like winter – would prefer to travel down under right now 😉

Hej Hans. Sneen lå i flere uger. I sidste uge forsvandt den. Men nu er det frost om natten igen- og hvidt derude 🙂

Thank you. It’s a different image from the other color-photos – B&W is so fine in snowy winter photos…
