Here are all the young lions relaxing in an old tree – while their three mothers are hunting in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. July 2012.

While we follow the lions in Tanzania here on the blog for the next weeks – we have ice-cold and white winter up here in Denmark……

Do you have winter around you now too? Or maybe you had six months ago?!

Love the lion kindergarten. Do they get left on their own ? or does an auntie stay behind to watch them ?

No aunties there watching, but their mothers were not far away hunting….

Herlig bilde, Truels! Virkelig et bilde som beskriver opplevelsen med fototur til Tanzania!
    Ha ei flott helg!

How wonderful it is to lie around and wait for Mum to bring home the dinner.

I do not know, if they were feeling that fine – because their mothers did not catch any of the zebras, they were hunting….. 😦

It was a nice sculpture – but the young lions were even nicer!
