Hunting (with the) hungry lions
We are driving in Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. Suddenly we met a group of hunting lions……
The wildlife in Tanzania’s national parks are accustomed to cars with people watching and photographing them. They consider almost humans with other features in the landscape such as trees or rocks. Therefore, we found ourselves in the middle of a group hunting lions.
Our driver and guide, Sadi, told us, that he could see, that the lions looked very hungry. They were hunting a group of zebras nearby………

What are the predators going to have for lunch today?
Zebras – or us!??
A moment after this photo was taken this lion was so close, that I could have touched it from the open roof where I was standing in the Land Rover………..
Did I touch it? And what was the lions prey that day?
To be continued
– in a few days!
Wow – you have built up the anticipation, cannot wait to see what happens next.

My suspicion is that you are too wise to try to touch a wild lion … wonderful photos.

I prefered to touch my camera instead and stay inside the Land Rover!
