Gylling Næs # 2

July 8, 2012

Here we are again – visiting Gylling Næs an evening in June.

Nothing but birdsong can be heard. Visual senses are sharpened in the fine evening light. The wild fence along the coast has many colors and shapes.

Håber du har haft en god tur nordpå, Hans!
Jeg er kommet hjem fra Tanzania i mandags – og direkte på arbejde i denne uge. Håber snart jeg får tid til at få kigget på alle mine fotos dernedefra 😉

Those trees show how rough life is on the coast yet they endure.

It’s right – many of them were leaning dramatically towards the east – west winds are predominant here in Denmark.

Det var dejligt. Og faktisk havde vi et par kolde øl med i en køletaske 😉

I understand how you enjoy walking around Gylling Naes in the evening light. Simply beautiful ! Those trees, I wonder what they are ? Somehow I associate them with more Mediterranean areas. Fantastic shapes and curves. Thanks Truels.

It was such a wonderful and magic evening – and in company with one of my best friends……
I’m not sure, but if I remember there were many different trees – eg. hawthorn, elder – and even roses.

Those trees in the third photo look like they are quite wind blown. Love the idea that all you can hear on this beautiful walk are the birds singing. Have a great weekend.
