Danish (de)light

November 27, 2011

In my last posts I showed the landscape around my hometown in October – in evening light.

Not far from where I captured those photos is another place, I often go – near Vilhelmsborg.

A few minutes later I was there:

Last time I photographed this view was last winter…

You can read more about Vilhelmsborg and my hometown in my post

That is a well-timed photograph, Truels. I like how the sunlight makes the land glow.

Mighty clouds and great photo. These kinds of photos with heavy clouds are refreshing to see against to all those sunny pictures. 🙂

Meget spesielt lys du har fanget inn her!
Det gir bildet en spesiel “glød”.

Ønsker deg en fin søndag og adventsøndag om du feirer det!

Ja, det var næsten magisk – og sjovt at virkningen var næsten stærkere på billederne end jeg oplevede dem derude!

Beautiful. It looks very much like an English landscape.

I know you have so many beautiful landscapes in England too. I must come over again once and see (and photograph!) them.

Beautiful dark and coloring here. Gorgeous. I have some Danish ancestry in me, so it’s wonderful to see such beautiful shots of the land. Thank you!

Oh, do you also (Lynn told me she has Danish family too!) have Danish family? Have you had contact with your family over here?!

It is fun to see photos of the same place shot at different times of the year, different light, different weather etc etc. Well done!

Thank you, Rune. I do that very often – visiting the same places again – and being surprised what I see!

Beautiful capture with the sky that makes the landscape really stand out nicely here. I love the shadows that stretch over the land, too. A great comparison with your winter shot with the trees covered in snow/frost.

Yes, I must go there and photograph in spring and summer too – sad I’ll have to wait a long time for that!
