Before leaving the West Coast of Jutland this summer, I want to take you with us for an evening walk to the beach:

Today is Election Day here in Denmark. I hope all you Danish readers will go and vote – for a new government 😉 !

Exquisite pictures of a beautiful place and moments. This is how I imagine the North Sea beaches and landscape. Are you happy about your Election Day’s results ? You got a change, didn’t you ?

You are right: This is a typical evening by the North Sea beaches!
I am happy that we got a new government. BUT: They will have difficulties in governing, because they have only a majority in parliament with four very different parties, it will be a test of cooperation in the future;-)

It was a cold but beautiful evening. We needed a new government after 10 years with a rather right-wing government. I hope the new one is better…

I lovely walk indeed. I assume this is your family? Congratulations on your election, but don’t get your hopes up too high, with opposition parties sometimes nothing really gets done.

The people walking are my wife, my son and one of my adult daughters. Politics? You have a point there, but the previous government had been sitting for over 10 years – and the chairs clung too much to the old ministers. And their views were too conservative and xenophobic 😦
