Summer retrospect / 2
From the late-summer photo in my last post – to some midsummer photos in this and coming posts. And where are we going?
I spent some days in July at Jutland’s west coast. I love to be out there in the grand and rather rough nature – not far from where I was born (in Ribe). And some of you may remember some of my previous post from there.
Summer in Denmark has usually very varying weather. Which is why we Danes speak much about the weather! We had not much sunshine and warmth during our vacation at Vejers this year. Often we saw threatening rain clouds approaching.
Instead of insects the spider web has caught the raindrops…
If you look down and look carefully – you can be lucky to watch beautiful sceneries. Even in cloudy and wet summer weather.
If you look up – and do not see the sunset at the beach – you may instead be watching a beautiful evening sky…

There are some wonderful shots here Truel. I love the patterns the water drops make in nature, like their own kaleidoscope. And that dark sky echoing the silhouetted tree tops is amazing.

Is that the ocean below the last two images? It’s such a beautiful sky. I guess the weather there is unpredictable, this makes you appreciate the nice weather so much more.

You are right – it is the ocean in the bottom of those two images. And not only fine weather is good photo-weather 😉

Let us not say goodbye to summer quite yet. I love the shapes of water between the lines of the web and think I prefer the color versions to the b&w, but they are all very nice. The skies are beautiful.
