On our way to Australia’s highest mountain, Mt. Kosciuszko, we stayed in Jindabyne. One evening the sky at dusk was so beautifu, and I hurried to get the camera. When I came back, the sky was already quite different – but still beautiful 🙂
The sky looks amazing! Was this before/after a storm?

We had no storm or bad weather here. And fortunately we avoided the extreme storms and rainfalls which made several natural disasters in Australia this year.

Wow – quick thinking to get your camera. The sky can change in seconds – this is very beautiful

But I wish I had been faster! – Minutes before the sky was even more beautiful….

We did not go to these parts of Australia. The first one is a very good pics! I am looking forward to see more from your visit!

I prefer the first photo too, Hans. Og tak for kommentaren – også om lugten af penge 😉

When things change the beauty often change with them – but they may still be beautiful.

You are right, Rune, I’m glad I got something beautiful – although it was not what I ran after!

I like the light in the first shot – it does seem that dusk is a great time for photographing.

I think I will do this more, it is exciting as the light is changing so quickly…

The first photograph looks like a scene from a UFO science fiction movie; a bit scary in one perspective. Nice one. 🙂

I agree, the mood is quite chilly and maybe a little threatening….

Thank you for your comment – I guess the “Blue hour” must be between these two shots?

Great photos, both of them although I like more the first photo.
I have noticed, that to take photos just before night comes, is the best moment. Here in Finland I call it “Blue Moment”. It is lasting only few minutes. The difference is been seen in Your photos.

My favorite is also the first one.
Scott Thomas has post some interesting posts about “Blue hour” recently, here is one of them:
