Jindabyne, NSW, Australia

May 12, 2011

On our way to Australia’s highest mountain, Mt. Kosciuszko, we stayed in Jindabyne. One evening the sky at dusk was so beautifu, and I hurried to get the camera. When I came back, the sky was already quite different – but still beautiful 🙂

The sky looks amazing! Was this before/after a storm?

We had no storm or bad weather here. And fortunately we avoided the extreme storms and rainfalls which made several natural disasters in Australia this year.

We did not go to these parts of Australia. The first one is a very good pics! I am looking forward to see more from your visit!

I like the light in the first shot – it does seem that dusk is a great time for photographing.

The first photograph looks like a scene from a UFO science fiction movie; a bit scary in one perspective. Nice one. 🙂

Thank you for your comment – I guess the “Blue hour” must be between these two shots?

Great photos, both of them although I like more the first photo.

I have noticed, that to take photos just before night comes, is the best moment. Here in Finland I call it “Blue Moment”. It is lasting only few minutes. The difference is been seen in Your photos.
