Japanese Cherry Tree

In May I captured images of my Japanese Cherry Tree in full flowering.

Now the last leaves has fallen off this – but in the middle of October it was very beautiful – again, and I just managed to take these photos of its fall colours:

    Beautiful colors. I wonder where the purple tones in the background bokeh comes from.

    Thanks for the comments. And yes, fall colours are SO beautiful. I did not notice those purple tones before your comment, Carsten. Interesting. I will wait for a day with sunshine and take a look. Bur right now I think it must be some optical reflecton?

    Beautiful Truels! There’s a japanese cherry tree just near us but it’s still in its autumn clothes! Love the close up shot especially, really delicate…
