Winter
January 23, 2013
Let’s go outside in the Danish winter !
When I leave my house the view is like this.
Last October the view was like you can see in my post “Colors on a grey day”.
The following photos are views of different details from a Danish winter day, January 2013:
“Steps” (B&W)
“Looking out”
“Looking down” (B&W)
“Looking close – “Butterfly Bush“
“Not any Butterflies Around Here”
“Snow on the Light”
“Looking Inside the Warm Living Room”
“Sunset Light on the Road”
(This photo was captured last winter and published earlier here March 2012 in my post “Goodbye winter”
)

I love looking at your posts in the middle of the an Aussie summer – makes me feel nice and cool
Ha, I feel the cold too… – but I would love to swap location with you!
Det ser vel nok dejligt ud – både ude og inde
Ja, der er da NOGET godt ved vinteren
Håber snart vi ses igen – måske i weekenden?!
You know Truels that going from your Serengeti Kindergarten to your Danish Winter is quite a shock ?! In any case a great choice of sights, compositions and titles. You presented interesting aspects of your Winter : Steps is a wonderful shot, Looking out, quite dreamy, Looking down, rather mysterious and Warm Living Room, very cosy. I really enjoyed seeing more of your Winter. Well done and thank you !
Well, thank you so much – I loved your post too…
– would love the shock being there even more!!!!
And you can be sure, that i will “return” to Tanzania in a few days
Brrrrr…. I love the warm living room picture, it looks wonderfully cosy and snug.
Yeah, my daughter just returned from ½ year in Istanbul, so she (like myself!) prefers climate inside rather than outside…
Great series, Truels! I loved having a little look into your day!
Thank you for your comment!
Wonderful photos Truels. Stay warm.
Thanks, I’ll try to stay warm……Brrrrrr
Definitely winter on your side of the world. Quite a contrast to the heat we are having. The winter does give you wonderful photo opportunities. It must be good to have your daughter home. Stay warm!!!
We are lucky to live in a part of the world, where it is possible to stay warm in winter – inside!
I do not like winter – would prefer to travel down under right now
Such photo opportunities must be savoured. Enjoy ithem while you can
Yes, it is important to see the positive aspects of life – even if it is cold
Gode vinterbilleder, far! Jeg kan altså godt se charmen ved kulden, når jeg ser dine billeder
Det var da dejligt at høre, og tak fordi jeg måtte bruge billedet af dig
Vi ses på mandag!
Flotte vinterbilder.
Ser snøen ligger tykk hos dere!
Hej Hans. Sneen lå i flere uger. I sidste uge forsvandt den. Men nu er det frost om natten igen- og hvidt derude
Great images Truels! My favorite is the footprints on the snowy steps. I really like the composition you chose!
Thank you. It’s a different image from the other color-photos – B&W is so fine in snowy winter photos…
I agree about the B&W… I’ve been working on a series I call Monochrome Winter. Has me “seeing” in a whole new way.
Hi lovely lady in a warm living room with a warm look !
I love my living room too
