WOW – Tanzania is the right place to be in our winter!
I wish you a wonderful holiday there.
I would like to hear more about your travel there and where you are going – because I’m going there later this year…!
I hope you are well again after your cold?!
I’ve taken holiday this week – to make – as little as possible! Which in fact means to tidy up, cleaning the house, and spend time doing everything else you do not get done on a daily basis!
I’m fine thanks. I had to take few days off from work. Without doing anything. I can only do that for a short time. Then I just HAVE to do something.
Oh yes, I read “Kafka on the beach” by Haruki Murakami. I can recommend that.
When we traveled southwards last year I had been given a couple of thick books, one of them was “Trækopfuglens krønike” (“The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle”) by Haruki Murakami: a really good book – can be recommended too…..
“Trækopfuglens Krønike” was my introduction to Haruki Murakami. I liked that book very much, and have recommended it to many people.
Have a cup of coffee!

Very nice! Looks like a little oasis in the middle of the snowy landscape.
I only watched this from the road (freezing my fingers!!!). But I guess some animals and birds could find a little food and shelter there….
Well captured! Love the composition.
Thank you, Reggie. I don’t hope WordPress had adverts below? ;-( !
Nicely done… love the combined winter feel of the bare trees, blue sky and white snow.
Thank you, David! I LOVE your photos!!!!
That’s really beautiful!
Yes – thank you
What a lovely sunny Wintery scene. It looks so peaceful.
Peaceful – and VERY cold!
Just great, Truels!
I wish you a Happy Friday!
Starting my winterholliday this weekend. Monday I am leaving Norway for Tanzania for a forthnight!

So simple and beautiful. Really nice.
Thank you!
really great landscape Truels!
I loved it too!
Wow Truels, looks like a wonderful place for a dog-walk (assuming you’re dressed warmly).
I was dressed warmly – except on the fingers! And dog? I do not have – “only” kids!
A beautifully soft landscape!
Yes. The softness was created by the snow.
I like this much. To me it’s a ‘real’ Danish winter landscape. In addition the photo is well composed.
Do you have time off for winter holidays?
I hope you are well again after your cold?!

Sorry. “Kafka on the shore” is the English title.

It’s a beautiful calm winter day, very nice!
It was. Thanks for your comment, Nye!
Det er et av de beste vinterbilder jeg har sett på veldig lenge – en nydelig enkelhelt
Åh tak, Rune, jeg rødmer helt ved de fine ord
It’s like a little island oasis, surrounded by snow… I wonder why it’s clear and everything else is covered?
I think the “island” is made by the little steep hillside covered with wild long grass between the two flat cultivated fields.
